General tips and guidelines for this board:

First of all this board is provided for personal items, if you have a commercial good or service or business venture to list, there are other avenues on Gulf Coast Flats Fishing to do so.

In the Subject field be descriptive, are you selling something or looking to buy?

Example:

For Sale - 2007 18' Shallow Sport
or
WTB - 2007 18' Shallow Sport

Also be descriptive in the post, list the accessories, talk about condition, why your selling, list a price, and don't forget contact details!
We do a lot to insure that your personal contact information remains private and out of reach of anyone YOU don't approve, so you might consider being notified of new private messages so people can contact you through this site. You can do that in your profile settings.

If you do list an email do it in a way that most "harvest bots" don't recognize.
Example:
john at aol.com (people will know to change the at to @)

And most importantly, include photos if at all possible. You'll see a link in the lower left when you post labeled "Additional Options" Just click that and upload your photos. Be sure they are less than 600x600 pixels.

None of this is mandatory, but should help eliminate tire kickers and accomplish what it is your attempting to do, sell your stuff.
